Farmer’s Wife Block Update

I’ve been working on the Farmer’s Wife Sampler, do you want to see my blocks?

I’m still a little worried they won’t all look nice together, but I’m just going with it. They are very fun to make. I use paper-piecing when it makes sense and templates or regular piecing when it’s something I can figure out the math for. I like the challenge of figuring out the smartest way to make each block. Of course I also love choosing the fabrics for each block. But it has surprised me that most of the time I have no idea how that fabric combination is going to work until the block is done!!
